Why don't we just sign Jetro Williems instead. He caught the eye in Holland's game vs Denmark. One of the better players on the night. He looked solid at the back and wasn't bad when he bumped forward. He's 18 and would also cost less.

Why don't we wait for Grimaldo to mature instead.

Pretty much this.

I'd rather see how Grimaldo develops, before signing a *young LB. Not that I am worried with his development, but it's hard to predict what'll happen in the next 3-4 years.

*young meaning in this context the following: a football player playing primarily as a left back of 18 to 20-years of age, or under.

Very shaky against Italy. Which says a lot, since Italy were set up very narrowly with 2 central strikers.

Are you people mentally challenged?

Do you expect Adriano to play 60 games next season?

Stop with the Grimaldo crap, out of every 10 overhyped la masia kids 1 makes it.

You can't base our team's future on the hope a 16 year old makes it by age 20 to the first team.

I was amused tbh. He wasnt great, maybe he wasnt good too but it was his 1st game at the Euros. Just needs to watch his runs forward, he left a lot of space for Italy.

Alves: "I played against Jordi Alba and truth is he's really good. He's welcome, he can add something - speed, brave, Barça style..." [md]
