Would be panic move from us to hire him. He has never built a team that is capable of dominating in Europe and despite our abysmal form so far, we should still be looking at being as dominant as Barca and Bayern as our end goal when making managerial appointments..

Well you can probably get Neville if he works out at Valencia.

But until then...

Who? Surely winning two champions leagues and a treble counts as being dominant?

I think he means dominant and relevant in the long run. His teams tend to collapse after he leaves them...he runs them physically and mentally into the ground... they maybe dominant as long as he is managing them, but when he leaves, they usually are in shambles, which is the direct result of the "constant crisis" state of mind he keeps his players in; They sorta of deflate after he leaves them and are in need of being rebuilt.

another side effect of him being a team's manager is that he makes them look like antagonists of the football world with his playing and managerial style; Real,Chelsea and Inter all were dirty players under him, while coaches like Pep, Ancelotti, Sir Alex, or even Lucho (despite not being given enough credit) manage a club with class and respect and uplift the reputation of the club.

So Basically, the club that Mou manages, has a lot to clean up after him; be it in dressing room or PR department.

I honestly don't think you will reach that level again. There's not many world class players you could buy to improve and you've already spent £250 million+ and I think a change in coach could improve you possibly but your squad will never be at that level. Selling Di Maria was a HUGE mistake.

But you see they know that they can't get Neymar, Muller or Ramos, so they are going after next big thing - Shaw, Depay, Martial and they are hoping that they'll become world class players, they are playing long game, that's why United owners are so patient with Van Gaal. Watch how they will go after Stones, Draxler or other young star upcoming summer.

Really? For me it seems that those in charge at United are living in a dream-world, they have tried to get all players mentioned. I wonder who their next big "signing" will be, Lewa?

Well they have tons of money so they are checking loyalty of world class players, but it's clear what kind of path they are taking - if we can't get good players, we'll develop them.

I gotta a strong feeling Mourinho will take over United. The question is when. January or in the summer?
