Mourinho (coach Madrid): "We must keep up the good work because the runners-up are a great team that can cause us problems." [Realmadrid.com]

Mourinho: "We'll try to win every game and, obviously, to win the champiosnhip as soon as possible. Winning the league title by one point would be a success."

Mourinho: "Our cushion over the runners-up is obviously good for us and it leaves Barcelona in a complicated spot."

Mourinho: "But Barca are a great side that could easily have a winning streak, so we must continue to work as hard as we've done so far."

Is "runners-up" instead of "second place" another troll attempt? If it is, it's kind of brilliant.

is it true that he has already planned pre season for his next season in la liga?

He is taking part in the preparation of Madrid's next season. but so does Pep and we're not sure whether he'll stay with us or not, so that hardly means a solid base to say he's gonna continue managing Madrid for next season as well, specially if a good EPL offer comes by. That only means he will not be sacked by the end of the season, however many times he gets his ass handed to him by Pep....

Jose Mourinho is the subject of a complaint by a gay rights group after he allegedly used a Spanish homophobic insult about match officials.

The Real Madrid manager has been accused by the European Gay and Lesbian Sports Federation (EGLSF) of referring to officials as 'maricones', which translates as 'faggots' in English, before the Champions League tie against CSKA Moscow.

Louise Englefield, co-president of the EGLSF, called on UEFA to take action over the comments, which were shown on the Spanish television channel Quatro.

She said: 'Homophobia is unacceptable from anyone in football, much less from one of the game's most senior figures. We are deeply disappointed that Mr Mourinho is casually using homophobic terms of abuse in his workplace.

'It is especially sad that these comments have been made during the International Football v Homophobia campaign week.

'As long-standing partners of the FARE network, we call on UEFA to take action and impose appropriate sanctions.'

Television footage shows Mourinho using the word while inspecting the pitch at the Luzhniki stadium on Monday.

AS reports Mourinho bought a house in London.

He's not going anywhere. He'll become Manchester United's manager and SAF's not retirering after a season in which his team crashed out in the CL group stage. London? He won't manage Chelsea again. Abramowitsch would lose his face (he's a billionair, the last thing he'll want is losing his face). Tottenham? LULZ. Arsenal? I don't see Wenger retirering after this season. On top of that: Arsenal won't buy him the players he'll demand. Just because Marca was butthurt after the last few Clasicos he won't leave. He's winning La Liga and is the top favourite for the CL as well. Tell me why he would go.

All those who are saying that Mourinho is leaving need their heads checked.

Any potential move away from Real Madrid would be a serious step down, considering that the possibility of managing us is zero.

Btw,

Are you serious about that highlighted part?

If he doesn't win CL and loses to Barca along the way, he very well might jam out imho... I get your point about Mourinho having no where else to go though. Maybe a return to Italy with AC Milan?
