Not sure where to put this but English press are saying Txiki Berigistain and Ferran Soriano are wanted back at Barca and they would look to take Pellegrini with them.

Could this be Laportas team to try and win elections?

Difficult to say, but I've heard rumours about Monchi being an integral part of his plans.

Man City fans seemed frustrated with both Txiki & Pellegrini and there was rumors earlier in the season that they might let them go ,but now they are in a good position to win EPL ,doubt Man City will allow them to leave if they got back to back EPL
But if they let them go in summer they will be welcomed tbh

Dont blame the Man City fans for being unhappy with them, by and large their signings have been terrible.

Barely a player in starting eleven that was not there before they arrived. Fernandinho is about it and they payed huge money for him.

Im guessing last nights performance will have helped bartomeus election campaign

Yesterday's game will play no role whatsoever in that aspect.

It's how the season ends that will be his downfall or strength. Aside from how Barça B ends their season and less so the other sports sections at the club.

I'm not sure even a treble would get him elected. The opposition has a lot of firepower, if they know how to use it.

I think Bartomeu has a good chance to win if Barca wins La Liga "only".
See how only one match made difference in public opinion.

The socis would have to be really dumb for that. Nothing's really changed. All the :shit: they did is still there. Laporta and Benedito will surely use all that in the elections.
But I prefer Barça to win it all, even if Barto gets re-elected. As long as Faus and Freixa aren't a part of his new board.

Bartomeu is giving an interview to catradio right now. He already started lying:

Barto al @ClubMitjanit "hi ha persones al club que no sabíem que la FIFA havia obert un expedient informatiu.Ni jo ni l'ex president Rosell"

"There were people in the club unaware that fifa had opened an informative investigation. Not me or the ex-president rosell."

He has no shame.

He's also using Messi now. Saying Messi wouldn't be who he is if the current laws were applied to him back them. He just forgot Messi's father got a job in the club as scout, making Messi legally signed. Also the law didn't exist back then, and this can't be used as an excuse to break it now. This guy can't be the president for another tenure.

It is fair to use Messi as an example though as the greatest player ever may not have even made it if these rules were in place at the time.

This is the biggest example of how La Masia has been used to benefit children from all around the world.

Nothing wrong at all with using that Messi example.
