For the club to be allowed to make a tax settlement like almost every other club that has been in this situation.

This is nothing unique for a big club.

Barto: "We’ll get to the end of it, to show we did things right. Barça won’t accept a deal. Barça did things correctly."

Barto won't settle if we believe him.

these two are all about ego, but don't understand that if they did wrong but carry foreard as if it's legal then people will find out and make them look even worse. surely they can't be that stupid? if they want to protect their ego they should just cut their losses now.

i don't know about law but settling before court or pleading guilty usually works for the best right?

I dont think they will accept any deal to prevent criminal proceedings. They may well agree to pay any tax though as most clubs do.

Whatever.

You defend them full force to match what you expect from this case.

As for me, I am not fanboy enough to close my eyes to what the board did wrong.

My personal opinion is that Barto knows he's in deep shit and that it will be hard to settle it anyways.

That + his shitty attempt at accusing everyone, madrid, the earth, and maybe the FIFA soon just to hide all his wrong doing.

Ok, if you are right Barto and Rosell are heading to jail.

We shall see.

He actually says he wont go as far to blame Madrid.
Then right after he implies that spanish people/politicians/authorities whatever could play a part in it because of Catalan independance.

He cares enough to not point his finger at a personal individual but he still points his finger to spain in general by doing that.

Off course he implies it but never directly mentions any blame.

Certainly not enough for anyone to sue.

If they "rosell and Barto" go to jail, and Barca "the club" just gets fined or a small punishement, then yeah I'll be extremely happy.

If they dont go to jail and no criminal proceedings are brought but tax paid.

Would you be happy with that and agree no criminal activity carried out?

Sadly certainly enough to annoy a lot of people. Something the club doesn't need.

He has a very bad lawyer. In cases like this, you ask your client to shut up and you try, as you implied yourself, to find a settlement at least for the taxes not paid.

Then when you enter criminal matters you can try to earn some sympathy by talking, but in barto's case, he should not include alll catalans and the club in his defense.

It's clear he tries to hide himself behind Barca institution. If he really loves the club and catalans, he can always try to defend himself while not including everyone and the club in his downfall.

I won't be happy, no.

He and Rosell are shaddy people who would have faced justice way ealier in some other countries including France.

I won't even be surprised if during the investigation they find other shaddy transfers like what happened with Douglas.

Totally disagree.

If they say nothing on this people start spouting off about how the board are doing nothing to fight the Madrid bias and not standing up for club. Cant win.

So you actually want them to be guilty of fraud?

That tell everything.

This 'French justice' thing repeated again. Which made no sense earlier.
