Juan Mata has been training in Cobham today as usual

BBC getting conned from twitter "in the knows"
Isn't he one of the "in the knows" who regularly make fake rumors.....That's like Jose criticizing another team for parking the bus......

Might be a pretty close call, I'd take either one. Mata is exactly what Man U needs, which is why Mou won't let it happen.

TBH United need a lot more than just Mata, they need a decent Centre back that would be able to play the whole season, a Young Striker, At least 1 winger and new fullbacks especially Right back

Selling RVP even for 10 million would be good if Rooney signs a new contract.....but we need him as an insurance policy if Rooney leaves..and I can't think of any club willing to pay RVP's wages of 200k a week......still think winning the title last season was worth more than 60 million(transfer and wages) was worth it....You can't put any value on Fergie leaving on top.....

Sure, but I don't even think RVP wants to be at United. Why would he? He left Arsenal so he could win titles but United can't offer him that at the moment. He's not going to waste more years of his career in a team that's going through a transition period.

RVP doesn't even know the meaning of the word loyalty so don't expect him to show any. Just sell him before his price drops by too much.

united are not a sinking ship. nothing about this season's performances indicate United is a team in decline. fortunes in football vary widely- they could be top again next year, or the year after. signing mata would be a huge bonus for them. and for mata.

Man Utd are too big to fall into a permanent decline, that's why I find it absolutely perplexing Chelsea are allowing Mata to move to a rival (ok maybe not this year). Mou must have a real hard on for the United job since he didn't even allow Ba to join Arsenal on loan. If United are struggling then you don't sell them your best player of the year.

They will probably replace him with Draxler.

The current squad will win almost nothing with Moyes. Ferguson was some kind of magician to lead this overall average squad to the epl last season. Once the magician's spell is gone, the deficiencies have come clear. Mata will be a start to rebuild the team.

And for Chelsea being short on the bench if he leaves, Sky sports says Chelsea are trying to hijack Liverpool's deal with Mohamed Salah.

United were absolutely in decline, they put fear into no one in the Premiership this season...but Mata is a game changer...He will make good use of United's weapons that were useless up until now
