How is that the fault of the youth system? The trainers we have are top notch, the equipment and the philosophy is all there for our youth to use and develop except the whole club mismanaged them. Had we utilized the golden generation or had space for them we would have seen a lot more cantera in our system.

Look at Granero, nothing too exceptional at the moment because he lacks experience with a big team, however he is right on the right track to become a integral part of our team.

Iniesta for instance took him 2-3 seasons playing sparingly and brought into matches at the right time until he produced a magical year when you won the treble. Pedro for instance trained with the first team for a year before commanding a starting position.

You developed players that directly fit in your formation which made the whole system a lot more intact. We fucked it up big time.

David Villa will hold talks about his Valencia future next week amid reports he is set to join Barcelona in the summer.

Meanwhile, reports in Spain are claiming that Barcelona presidential candidate Sandro Rosell is closing on an agreement for Villa's Valencia team-mate Juan Mata.
Rosell is prepared to offer the schemer a five-year contract to move to Camp Nou, although Mata wants to focus on the upcoming World Cup.
