He's your type of player because of the 'glitz and glamour' around him - you see football as entertainment, not a sport, and you are obsessed with stats.
Saying people are bitter because 'he's better than their club's midfielders' is silly and an extremely weak point as you could apply that to any player (I don't even have a club). He is absolutely not better than the likes of Pedri and others. Not at the actual 'midfield' part of the game.
That's like me saying you hate Messi because you are 'salty' (cringeworthy gen Z term by the way) Liverpool have never had a player anywhere near as good. I'd never make that point because it is stupid.

You're obsessed with diminutive technicians and just dislike any other kind of player.
You only like players who fit that lil category. On the other hand, I rate many different kinds of players with different profiles and positions. Not just muscles or glamour as you seem to think. My appreciation for Xavi and Pirlo is pretty well known here and they're hardly stats merchants.
You have a huge bias against tall or physically strong players for some weird reason. You'd probably rate Bellingham if he was shorter and less athletic and scored fewer goals.
It's pretty stupid to only appreciate one kind of player and claim that you know more about the sport than everybody else. Narcissism 101. Ironic that you hate Ronaldo so much.

Besides that also top of the league (and not shabby in Europe) far as tackles, interceptions, blocks, other general defensive actions when compared with attacking players in similar position
Does more even than likes of Griezmann who has been gold standard far as this stuff goes for years
