Arent they right up with the Barcelona anyway?
You're thinking of Atletico Madrid, not Real

Was always to reliant on pace, was always overrated
He was never overrated before he was injured. Was one of the few players in the world game who could win a match on his own.
Also Barcaforum seems to have something against people with pace. It's really weird. It's one thing having pace - it's another thing to use it effectively in your game.
It's like saying Xavi/Xabi Alonso are too reliant on passing - makes no sense. Don't reduce Kaka to Walcott's level. He had an amazing shot, eye for a pass and his balance and dribbling on the break was a joy to watch.

Seedoft was way better than him in 2007, he was just the one finishing of the moves, his record in league play is horrible.
Re: pace, I don't like players whose primary weapon his pace, because once you lose it, you instantly become crap, unlike when you rely on things like having a good football brain and technique.
To the person who said not many am better than him
Gerrard
Lamps
Iniesta
Cesc
Roman
Deco
Malta
Silva
Just off the top of my head
Deco was much better

He didn't lose his pace though. I've seen quite a few occasions where Madrid counter and Kaka keeps up with Ronaldo on the break when they're both sprinting. He lost his physical sense of balance that allowed him to keep his head up while dribbling.
Also, he didn't just finish off the moves lol. If you really equate Kaka to that, then I can say the same about Messi in Barca, just a person who finishes off the moves that Xavi/Iniesta create and build.
And yet none of them won the Ballon D'Or by the record margin he won at that time. The journos must be real idiots to just hand it to the player who just "finishes off the moves"
You talk about consistency and yet you put players like Gerrard, Cesc, Riquelme, Mata and Silva.....Deco like Kaka was not even that good for a lot of years. Only Lampard and Iniesta are more consistent.
