Who cares? The Sun is based in London (or a borough of London) but it doesn't mean everytime it posts a story about them every fan of a team and the team itself in London gets embarrassed...

Guillem Balague said they were biased towards Madrid. I don't think "The Sun" are biased to any team.

:2guns:

You're right in a sense, db. Marca and AS are Pro-Madrid, whereas Sport and EMD are Pro-Barca.

The fact they are biased to someone doesn't mean the club itself would be embarrased if something the paper said turned out to be false...

Your talking crap tbh.

So this arguement is based on me saying "Madrid"?

Then you taking it as the club itself, when I meant the image of the team, the fans etc.

and as pretty much everyones told you it means nothing towards the club or the fans...All the fans are guilty of is being gullible for transfer rumours like all fans are...hardly anything to be embarrassed about tbh. Its not like this would be the first time the papers jumped the gun with a football story.

hardly anything to be embarrassed about tbh.

If you were a Madrid fan who went round celebrating and singing they have signed Kaka, then it turned out you were wrong. Wouldn't you be embarrased ?

No. I thought we'd signed Beckham in 2003, then we didn't. Never was embarrassed because so many people were also fooled into it, everyone just laughs it off...

I maintain laporta did that to get real to spunk their cash on him so we'd be free to procure ronaldinho without blanco interference.

he took the chicken option imo too, signing for real was good publicity for both parties, but rubbish footballistically, but if he'd gone to barca and helped turn their fortunes round a la ronaldinho, he'd've ended up adored for life but he wasn't good enough to do that so probably took the right option.

you should have gotten interfered with by us, to the extent that you didn't even get near ronaldinho, and for that reason if i ever see peter kenyon in real life i'm gonna kick the shit out of the baldy bastard.
i'm sure that if he'd done what he did in a normal business situation (non-footballing) and ruined 3 major deals/re-directed some of them to his new employers, he might well have faced jail for industrial sabotage.(or maybe that's wishful thinking)

I'd only be embarressed if i got a tattoo of Kaka on my body because i was that certain my club were going to sign him...
;)

It's great to be proud of your nation. I can't say I'm too proud of mine at the moment, that's for sure.

Who would you say is your best Scottish footballer? Fletcher?

I'd say Hutton is our best outfield player, if it wasn't for his injuries i wouldn't be suprised to see him signed by one of the 'top 4' in England.

Fletcher does well for Man Utd though. While i've not been as impressed for his performances for Scotland. He used to get caught in possesion by teams constantly however he has been improving in his more recent outings.

Gordon as a keeper is an absolute life-saver for Scotland at times

Scott Brown is someone i like, probably one of the only Celtic/Rangers players i atcually do look favourably upon. He is usually good with his one and two touch passing, has enough skill to get past most opponents and isn't shy about throwing himself into tackles. Usually combines pretty well with Hutton (when he's fit) in our international fixtures.

beast is trying to start an arguement. If I ran around shouting "we've got Kaka" then I would be embarrased.

I didn't (I was in France at the time) but I probably would of done.
