He was awful today. After being totally invisible for almost 90 minutes he missed an 1on1 with the keeper to win the game against Cologne. The whole transfer saga seems to affect him.

Yeah the whole thing is bothering him apparently, his agent came out and said it and want the situation sorted out so that he can focus properly.

I want City to sign him just to see if he can cut it in the Premier League this time, although I fear his lack of pace might hinder him out wide. It's a big investment but he might be worth the risk; or not.

Didnt his agent recently came out to deny that he wants to stay, weird shit to say.

Also read how Mourinho absolutely ripped him apart yesterday basically calling him a spoiled whiny little bitch who wasnt man enough to make it at Chelsea, of course patting himself on the back at the same time.

Arteta and other Primera rejects are gods of midfield in epl. Technical and tactical qualities are low there. But I understand your point, given De Bruyne already kinda played there.

De Bruyne hardly got a chance at Chelsea though. Average players like Schurrle were preferred over him lol

Arteta has never been a "god" of midfield :lol: He is and was awful. Scholes was a god of midfield.

According to Kicker and Bild, he (still) prefers a transfer to Bayern and might be willing to wait a year and sign for less money to make it happen.

Makes sense for both parties.
Bayern need a Ribery replacement and De Bruyne can play there quite well afaik.
Douglas Costa and KDB will help Bayern remain effective after Robbery although Robbery in their prime can never be replaced.
Besides KDB already tried BPL and maybe he felt that the league just doesn't suit him.

I'm not so sure about that.
As I see it KDB doesn't have Pep's usual wide attacker profile at all. He's really not the lightening fast tight space dribbler that he usually sticks on the wings. He's much more of a traditional CAM, who of course also can play wide, who thrives on being allowed to roam more freely, and as far as I know, the current Bayern system just doesn't have room for one of type. If they are indeed after him, I'm sure Pep has plans to fit him in somewhere, but I can't see him being a 1 for 1 Ribery heir at all, and not letting him to play to his obvious strengths would be borderline criminal after his brilliant 14/15 season.

Then again, it would make perfect sense according to Bayern's transfer policy of buying up the stars of their Bundesliga rivals.
