I'd be fuming if i was a City-fan, these kind of decisions can have long-term impacts on a players career. hope KDB recovers well though.

Just as he signed a new contract as well , City board are probably fuming as well and rightfully.

The PL is argueably teh biggest and strongest league in the world. So he is World Class. He simply got unlucky in the CL final,but don't forget he led Man City to the final.

If he leads City in wins, then he also leads them in defeats.

In CLs, in 6 years, they managed to qualify pass the quarters only 2 times.

With the most gifted Belgium team ever = meh, meh, meh.

The injuries are taking its toll on him. Last year he was the best midfielder in the world IMO, even impressed me at the Euro 2020 this summer, but playing through the tournament not fully recovered I think will have a long term effect on his performance. Sad for him, one of the brilliant players of this generation.
