In terms of talent and ability KDB sits at the Xavi-Iniesta-Modric table.

Sure they have won more(because they played for Prime Real and Barca lmao) but can anyone honestly claim that KDB is inferior in terms of talent, ability and quality?

If anything he's an even bigger match winner, more complete and has more X Factor. Every game he does multiple things which makes you go "wow". His distance shooting(with both feet), set pieces and physicality is great too.

Now some dumbass will come here and say "why are you comparing players who play a different role". Save it because my post is about giving KDB the respect he deserves. He's at that table easily. Don't care about team trophies.
All four are more talented than Cristiano Ronaldo, though(y)

Don't think either Xavi or Modric is as talented as KDB. What makes Xavi the best is his style of play, his vision and his: way of thinking. Modric is about longevity (KDB dominated him most of the time in UCL btw).
KDB, Modric, Xavi, Iniesta are all high talent and high IQ.

Different attributes but KDB has the most jaw dropping 'wow' moments and match winning ability in general.

Iniesta is the best dribbler. Xavi is the best controller. Modric is a bit of both and has a great engine too.

Passing: Xavi>KDB>Modric>Iniesta

Dribbling: Iniesta>Modric>Xavi>KDB

Shooting: KDB>Modric>Iniesta>Xavi

Final ball/crossing/set plays: KDB>Xavi>Modric>Iniesta

It doesn't really matter - all four are some of the best players of the 21st century. The order you put them in is personal preference, though KDB would be fourth on my list (although still absolutely fantastic and it was even me who resurrected the thread).

Ultimately you'd be delighted with any of them in your team. As you would with cristiano Ronaldo (personality aside), despite my mocking of him.

The right decision. I think he’s been a shell of himself since August 23. Lots of injuries on the wrong side of 30 can accelerate the decline.

An absolutely phenomenal player at his peak though.

Different players with different tasks. If you want goals from midfield then KDB is the guy, perhaps early crosses too. Xavi and Modric put in great crosses too so it's not clear-cut. In every other area the others are better. Some of the comparisons are a bit weird. Iniesta's passing underrated I see. All three could also feed Haaland like KDB done for example, without undermining KDBs ability of course.

For a midfielder, press resistance and dictating the tempo are also important and here all three are far ahead of KDB.

And funnily enough Kroos/Modric/Iniesta/Xavi >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> KDB.
