Kevin-Prince Boateng

You mean the kalinic at atletico?

When were talking of a backup option for 6 months then I prefer to go with an actual striker. Whether Atletico would loan to us is another question admittedly.

By the end of the season Valverde will be using KPB as a defensive substitute to press and close out games rather than an offensive one to win games.

He had one training session and was shoved into a makeshift 11 by a shit manager. That too we faced Sevilla away....

The number of fucking knee jerk reactions here.... Sheesh

Not a knee jerk reaction, people should curb their expectations if they think he’s gonna provide many goals as he’s never been that kind of player.

Only thing to draw from the night underscores what is already known about him, he's not really a striker

suarez is usually flamed for this type of performance, plus he showed how arrogant he can be when he passed that second ball in the action area. i don't have any expectations from him except to be used to give suarez some rest

We saw some of his many limitations in action tonight in his current version (approaching 32 years of age). Had some decent moments as well in terms of holding the ball with his back to the goal and laying it off.

However he is not a player, at all, that I expect to change dynamics of games or score goals. Hence my amusement and lack of understanding of the transfer in the first place. His performance tonight did not change that initial reaction to his transfer but obviously he should be given more chances before the final verdict is put out.

However it does not look good based on that performance alone. He looked much slower than I would have imagined. Not expecting anything from him of worth which is rather sad as we could have had a genuine substitute for Suárez that we could have relied on in case of such a need. Alas, can't have it all.

PRINC$$ is a stright up kila.

I liked what I saw from him, extraordinary hold up play.

Need the proper players to link-up with though. PRIN$$ hold up play combined with Dombouz's blistering runs will basically be end for any opposition.

PRIN$$ Boateng x PRINCE Dembele = Game Over.

Better player than many are suggesting. Stuff about him being ill disciplined etc are wide of the mark. Not every player we sign can be a superstar - i think he will do a job for us this season and enable us to rest our best players so that they are ready for the big games.
