This guy is just throwing random names out there so he could look smart if we'll actually choose one of them. Should really be banned as a source here, lol.

I'd rather take Bielsa for an interim/short spell.

He's under contract with Leeds who won't let him go when the season has just started unless we'd pay them some crazy money (we don't have). Also don't see him as a coach to lead a longterm project with his unpredictability.

I love Bielsa as a coach but just don't see him as a fit or what we need right now. Players like Busi and Pique would also "die" in his first training session.

Leeds are on relegation zone btw. Bielsa will not fit into a team that fights for glory.

My bet is some random coach will take over till the board find a proper coach. Probably Jordi or Larsson.

That's my guess as well. I've mentioned him in his own thread but Alfred Schreuder could be an alternative too, couldn't he?

Yes, you did, but why would Bielsa come here as interim manager when he's already employed by another club and more important, why we would pay Leeds to take him if only counted on him as a short term solution? Doesn't make sense.

there is no sense when it comes to bielsa. just stated my preference, since it's silly season anyway.

would probably be able to teach dest how to cross.

Not sure if sacking Koeman will improve anything. We sure as fuck aren't moving in the right direction, but I can't see any viable alternative out there who can both develop the youngsters and build a competitive team.

I don't like change just for the sake of it. A couple of months later we'll have the same issues as today.

IMHO it will be either Xavi or Roberto Martinez. There is ZERO chance that Pirlo will be the chosen one. The mot important thing now is to chose the manager who will be a long term solution. Another short term clown would be a horrible mistake.

It probably won't, but I am not sure you want to keep someone at the top, who's going nowhere.

If we can get Ten Hag, Xavi or Gallardo (never watched him, but he's the flavor of the month :p) I would jump at sacking Koeman. Otherwise probably not .Another Setien would be costly. Problem is that the Laporta-Koeman relationship is toxic as fuck (and maybe rightfully so). We need someone who can give the club a new identity (hence a younger coach for me) and has the president's trust.

I would only sack Koeman for Gallardo tbh. Ten Hag won't leave Ajax before next summer (so why pay out Koeman only to replace him with probably an inferior interim manager if Ten Hag is your target?) and I just have a feeling both Xavi and Laporta think it's not the time for his return yet so nothing will happen on that front for 2-3 more years at least.

Xavi is Qatar's ambassador for World Cup 2022.

That means nothing. It's not like that's a 24/7 job. :D

Gallardo has zero experience outside of South America. There is a good chance he would be another disaster. I also can't understand why are people so crazy about Ten Hag? He is managing a team in a league that's far from competitive. Except for 2018/19 season his track record is unimpressive.

IMHO none of those 2 should have an advantage over Xavi.
