IMO Barca is going to push really hard for Koke. Xavi leaving gives me more hope that they'll go to any length in signing Koke. Still is a very long shot, but now maybe a better shot.

They could maneuver under the buyout fee to avoid taxes by including Tello in the deal. Atleti has expressed interest in Tello.

Apparently they're interested in Alexis too.

Samper is only 19, I think he'd first be the backup of Busquets for a few years and then eventually take over Busquets' role (if he's good enough). Rafinha will eventually take over Iniesta's role I think.

You're relying too much on the players who could turn out as another Bojan Krkic. If Xavi leaves Barca has no choice but to find another world class midfielder.

Samper is no Busquets defensively. I think he's going to be used as a deep lying playmaker later on in his career. Unless he improves his defensive attributes a lot.

Yeah. Samper is more of a Pirlo type player. He needs to work on his movement to move up into that CM role. Now, a Busi-Samper double pivot in the future? That might work.

If Xavi leaves this summer, we should just pay what Atlético wants and be done with it (guess we also need to convince Koke to join us though). If not Koke, then on another world class cm at the very least. Rakitic seems a good fit for our team but I´m still a little bit unsure about how he´ll do.

So many Barça legends leaving this summer and getting that very much needed world class cb looks to be a tough one.
Valdés, Cesc, Alves (?), Puyi and possibly Xavi leaving... I hope that when we´re in september, we´ll have all the players we need, so that we will be a force to be reckoned with again.
