Kurt Zouma

I think a millionaire throwing a racial slur at another millionaire in the heat of a game is not remotely comparable to booting a defenceless animal across the room and laughing about it, but if Zouma was White then Antonio would not be making this inane comparison in the first place. His in-group racial bias is just kicking in.

Are you really trying to make excuses for people being racist? Heat of the moment?

Human abuse is definitely worse than animal abuse

Don’t twist his words. He wasn’t making an excuse for it but just saying that he doesn’t think what JT for example did was as bad as what Zouma did and I agree with that.

Human abuse is worse on equal scale for sure but not necessarily in every instance.

Feggydinho stop talking nonsense here to be contrarian.

Comparing what Zouma did to the Hazard ball boy incident? Seriously?

You can pick the Hazard ball boy incident, and that's not the only incident I compared with. My point is the punishment (amount of fines, cancellation of contracts, and all that) here was extreme and if there isn't consistency in punishments, then there would surely be more talks cause it's just human nature to compare and see if various decisions are justified or not. The calls for Zouma to be sacked has also died down after what Antonio said was published,

What's extreme?
He was fined 3 weeks wages and pets taken away. He'll be fine as much as an asshole like him would be fine.
Cut acting dense, none of that is extreme
Nor were calls for him to lose work as was never going to happen and he can take a bit of heat for being a dumb cunt
Sponsorship retraction is normal PR reaction and should happen since every reasonable person should consider stopping incentive financial support of an animal abuser

Seems like there might be something in the water there at West Ham training grounds. Idiot levels are off the charts.

Firstly it's not rocket science for people to say that the severity of punishment for various crimes shows which ones matter most, and there were actually calls for him to be sacked, you could see it online and that's what Antonio addressed when he said "people have been convicted for racism and played football afterwards, and that they were now calling for Zouma to be sacked". ESPN and various sites reported it as "Antonio has responded to calls for Kurt Zouma to be sacked". I don't recall Sponsorship retraction for players accused or convicted of racism but it might be a new thing, and I don't recall any of those players fined 250k but when I knew it was going overboard was when I started seeing people asking for him to be sacked and all, Antonio extreme response surely ended many of those talks.

If you remove all context sure, but why would you? Amazing how this has been allowed to be turned into a race issue just because Zouma is black. Maybe Antonio is less stupid than he sounds.

Barcelona are tracking the market for a goalkeeper who can provide competition for Ter Stegen next season. Illan Meslier (Leeds), Bartlomiej Dragowski (Fiorentina), Yassine Bounou (Sevilla), Maarten Vandevoordt (Genk) and Alban Lafont (Nantes) are all on the list. [md]

Wrong place or did I miss a joke?

It's not a race issue Antonio is just highlighting the fact that the whole world is going crazy over this even UFC fighters are calling out Kurt where as when something racist happens nobody cares

Imagine crying over animals when you don't treat your own kind right. I feel his pain.

This is complete inversion of reality. The entire league gets on one knee before every game to pray at the altar of black victimhood. There's scarcely an issue in the country that people are taught to care more about.

Nobody cares about that. That's for show.

Honestly, I don't there should even be a ground for that comparison (animals and humans)

It doesn't matter what the calls were for, decision makers werent going to sack him and manager started him like nothing happened
Punishment isnt extreme.

It isn't one. You're making it one because you're fixated on a comparison you yourself thought inane. Wonder why.

That said as per usual, use of race now justified as a weapon against him because he happens to be a cunt and won't be checked.
Newslines in Poland already been swarming with racial hate

White nationalists truly a band of sickos
