Neymar peaked 2 years ago. Not even kidding.

Yeah I don't think he's going to get better really, his level now is about his optimum. Especially not playing against this level of opponent every week. He might as well be back at Santos playing in the State championships if it wasn't for the CL.

Mbappe should have gone to the Premier League or held out for Real or Barca. At least he's got the excuse of going to his home town club.

Neymar's single biggest obstacle is his own mindset. I don't think he has the mentality to surpass the peak he's shown some seasons ago in Barcelona.

Despite some people claiming that moving to PSG was a challenge, I think he took the easy way out. 4 high-level matches a season is not a challenge or an incentive to keep him sharp throughout the season. And if he actually wanted to prove himself as the best player in the world that is not where he should have stayed in La Liga or gone to the EPL.

He'll earn lots of money and will have time to dedicate to living the celebrity life.

At least Mbappe is young. I think it will do him good to stay the in French league a bit longer. He can develop more in his comfort zone.

Real test will be in CL like last year, not against a 10 men Metz.

If he does the same as last year in CL, there will no debate, Ligue 1 or not.

I just hope we will have a shot in recruiting him one day since PSG hates us so badly. And I don't want to wait 5 years for his contract running out.

i don't think PSG hate us badly, this is a business for these people, I doubt even Nasser is that petty. saying that though i don't see Mbappe leaving PSG as long as new contracts keep coming and PSG compete for every trophy, the summer after next I think they'll bring in Pogba who could be the face of French football with his marketability (we need to make sure Dembeles buyout clause rises 100m each contract). i'd have a tiny bit of respect for PSG if they did actually build around a french core instead of these brazilian clowns. Neymar will be off within 2-3 seasons imo, i can see him at City.

theres so many of these theories.. 'PSG bought Neymar as revenge for the 6-1' 'Nasser hates Barca due to the ref in that match so he bought Neymar' 'Nasser bought Neymar because we went after Verratti' etc etc

Nasser is apparently a Barca fan himself. But in his position he has to separate the fan and the interests of the club he's working for which he has been doing since he's been at PSG.

Like everyone else he probably hates our board as well.

Improvin' Perfection!!
He reminds so much of Ronaldo, the phenomenon! It's just crazy....... I hope he never signs for Real

I mean if you think about it, if they could achieve so much with the stupid replica version, can't comprehend what's possible for them with this guy!

I watched some of last night's game and it's so easy that I don't see how either player can or will progress in that team now ..

.

Well, if this transferwindow learned us anything, it is that running down the contract is the only way a good player can leave PSG. And that in 3 years they will double his wages and offer a new 5 year co

But you are right, CL is the only test for PSG - even drawing with Metz would be a small scandal, they are a shit team, as most small clubs in Ligue 1.
I really root for Celtic to win a symbolic match against PSG - proud football history and culture against the qatari promotion team.

He had an average debut. Made a lot of noob errors and very few good moves.
Not true. Watched the game this morning, and with Neymar, he was the best parisian last night.

I so want to see him here. I hope I'm wrong because I wish good to Dembele, but for a ~40m difference, I would have picked Mbappe instead.
