Kylian Mbappé

You guys need to read his posts and what he is alluding to when comparing Mbappe to Brazilian Ronaldo, how he'll be better than Neymar very soon and how what he is doing at this age is unprecedented with the path he's taking.

Read between the lines.

Why do you always have to attack me? Nothing I'm saying is crazy, so what's the point of attacking me rather than what I'm arguing?

I mean even if he thinks Mbappe is going to be better than Messi, it is his opinion. Even if that turns out to be true, so what? Having a great footballer to watch is good, isn't it?

We Barca and Messi fans don't need to be insecure.

I'll respectfully recommend you to read my posts again and the ones of the last few pages before you spew out garbage about insecurity. I guess that's a bit ironic since I talked about respect, but ended up calling that last part garbage, but that's how I roll so cannot do anything about it, sorry.

It's a discussion itself where one part is jumping to conclusions and the other is telling him to hold his horses as a lot can happen in football.

I don't need anyone to jump in and talk about insecurity when I'm just taking part in a discussion and displayed none of that sort as I'm not the one constantly trying to seek validation here about a player on my team. If anyone want to circlejerk around Mbappe then so be it, I'm just simply arguing against someone jumping to such conclusions.

I wasn't targeting you in particular with my post above, I was just thinking that whenever Messi is brought up in comparison with another player/other players there are always some Barca and Messi fans feeling the need to instantly dismiss the other player(s) mentioned as if they would threaten Messi's status and legacy etc. The constant bickering over Ronaldo vs. Messi is one great example, and something I myself had been succumbed to before. There are certainly many good merits on Messi's side to indicate why the other players are not on the same level with him that have been said but I felt there is a knee-jerk reaction on our side to come out and dismiss the other player(s) and squash people with opposing views. If that wasn't your intent then my apologies.

With regard to Mbappe, we shall see. If he turns out to be great, great, as long as he doesn't play for Real Madrid I guess.

there is no bickering, everyone knows Messi is the best.

Mbappe looks very special in a shit league (thats not to say he won't be great in any league) and within a few years he'll leave Neymar in his shadow, PSG would do well to build around the Frenchman. I don't see him troubling Ronaldos status, let alone Messi.

You don't watch football though, so how would you know a good league from a poor one? If were as easy as you're pretending, every talented player his age would perform as he is, but they aren't, regardless of the league/country. Never mind the fact that he's been better in the UCL than he's been domestically(2nd highest goal scorer in the UCL during 2017).

Absolutely nothing in any way personal or trolling to you and you respond with that guff of 'you dont watch football though'.

Trolling as per usual.

I can guarantee you he doesn't watch Ligue 1. Most of you don't(you remind me all the time), that isn't a revelation. I doubt he watches the Bundesliga either. And if you aren't watching these leagues, how can you speak to their quality? You can't.

What leagues do you watch enough to comment on?

Most people see enough of likes of Mbappe to know how good he is.

Brasileirão, Ligue 1, La Liga, EPL, Serie A, Bundesliga, and the Primera division in that order. I don't get to watch as many matches of the latter three as I would like, but I keep up with them best I can.

There is not enough time to watch a lot football across all those leagues really.

I would say I watch a lot and almost every night and most weekend largely due to gambling and you just cant watch enough of all those league to claim watch a lot of them all. It is impossible.

To start making out others cant have opinions as dont watch enough is not accurate or fair.
