For what it's worth I don't think he's a die-hard Madridista but just a C.Ronaldo fanboy, he probably grew out of that phase. Also if Barca went for him last summer he wouldn't cost 180m, obviously we could've gotten him cheaper since we were capable of paying his fee that summer instead of doing what PSG did by loanning him first because of FFP restrictions.

For a lot of people it was crystal clear Mbappe was going to be better. Mbappe always looked like a once in a generation talent, similar to how Messi or Brazilian Ronaldo emerged to the scene and propably even more impressive. However, that doesn't mean that he will reach Messi's heights.

I think Dembele was and still is better. Dembele has been badly handled by Valverde. Valverde has made him the fall guy an Suarez and Messi are undropable. The situation sucks for him.

Adriano, yes, he was a monster back in the day, sometimes when he got the ball he would just strike it from basically anywhere on the pitch and it still ended up in the back of the net.

Mbappe himself said that Dembele was better than him.

Although, We all know he isn't better, but I do believe this isn't his peak, he can do much better, if his skillset is properly utilized.

Mbappe has a free role at PSG. I watched that Lyon game and they were 10 men down and defending like amateurs, he could have scored 8 goals had he not missed those chances.

Just see the space he has to run, whenever he makes a run, he has teammates upfront, while at Barca, Dembele is usually the person far ahead from others, and has to either stop and wait for others to reach, or go for goal himself.

My point is that it is not the right scenario or the right time to compare both. It would have been a different thing if both were playing in the same league, at least on level terms.

I am not saying Dembele is better than Mbappe. But, I still believe he could be a player what he was expected to be.

The difference between Ligue 1 and Bundesliga is not nearly as big as some imagine, actually.
As for Dembele being great at Dortmund, yes.. Having said that, he also had an off day once every 3rd game or so

Adriano lost his father and couldn't handle it mentally after him, many Inter players talked about how it destroyed him. This things can happen to any player, losing someone close, bad relationship etc could go both ways for any person and footballers. Can happen to Dembele or Mpabbe too.
I don't think Dembele was better than Mpabbe at any moment since the later was promoted in Monaco. We should sooner or later accept that Mpabbe is on another level
This just feels like the days when RM fans argued that Robinho was bigger talent than Messi
