Barcelona has the best sporting project in all of Europe with Dembouz, Frenkie Dr Jong, Arthur and possibly De Ligt too. Not to mention MAtS, Umtiti, Lenglet are all still young.
Mbappe is very good mates with Dmebouz and FDJ as well.
So Mbappe would have an incredible sporting project, play for a top European team and have a few of his national team mates alongside him.

There is no doubt he would consider us if we approach him, absolutely, plus we will need to replace Messi and we will pay him handsomely.
However, the biggest road block is PSG. Given how hostile the relations are between us and PSG, PSG will not sell him to us unless we outbid Real Madrid and other competitors significantly, which is not likely.
Chances of him not renewing with PSG and leaving for us for free? Zero.

The more the time runs down on the contract, the less power a club has over the situation of the player.
So if Barca come in and he pushes for Barca while only having 1 year left on his contract. PSG wouldn't be able to do anything about, unless they would rather see him come to us in a year on a free.

Already had an opportunity to pick Madrid, who’s won 4 of the last 5 UCL’s. He declined to make his own legend.

Yes he does need Spanish football if he wants to win anything significant other than farmer of the year.

La Liga doesn't need Mbappe and Mbappe doesn't need La Liga in particular to be relevant. Problem for him is that PSG is doing a piss poor job so far at helping Mbappe to be a tier 1 name in European football.
Only reason Mbappe is highly rated atm is France winning the World Cup and him doing well in that tournament.
