Kylian Mbappé

Scenes in this forum when both of them head to EPL ;)

Honestly, I think both will most likely move in 2022 rather than this summer
(Mbape less because PSG will stand their ground and try to sell him if he wants to sit out his contract,
but for Haaland it's pretty much straight-forward: Dortmund can qualify for CL after City knocks them out, and release clause and other conditions favor his move to take place in 2022)

The chances they will opt to join LaLiga, instead of joining the best coaches and the best league are minimal.
If there is a slight chance for that to change, this will happen only if Barca under Koeman play fantastic football next season and progress deep in the UCL.
But even then, chances are not in Barca's favor

I for one have no problem with both of them going to the EPL. My only concern is that will make La Liga less appealing overall.

Mbappe was a known Ronaldo fan and possibly a fan of Real Madrid's too and he has been widely linked to Real Madrid. I haven't seen him being linked with any EPL clubs so far.

There is very decent chance they both go to EPl, but City , especially with easier FFP rules coming, will be the new Bayern of that league.
Will feel bad for whoever is going to any other club between those 2

If Real gets Haaland or Mbappe, it will boost Barca's chances of signing the other one.

It would be great for their media image.

Liverpool.
He has openly admitted in interviews admiring Klopp personally and his brand of football.
Back in 2017, before signing for PSG, Henry (FSG director) took him in his private plane for a tour.

IMO the chance of seeing Haaland in sky blue and Mbape in red by summer 2022 is very high

It became a narrative that Haaland vs Mbappe is the new Messi vs CR7 but they are waaaay of the level of the old ones. I think they both won't be the best players of the next decade. Someone else will pop up.

Even Liverpool fans jokes about that Mpabbe rumor. They call it bs
There is very limited chance they can afford him.
Hell, with FFP gone they are afraid of FSG reaction, as they actually decided to invest in football only after UEFA plans to implement ffp.
Only Manu can compete with City financial power now. And they are one of the worst managed clubs under Glazzer family (despite this family having success in American sport)

That's possible. But they don't need to be on the level of the two to be the new media stars. It's obvious their future will be settled soon (this summer or more likely the next one) and the popular opinion at that time will determine what happens.

Rivarly, especially the biggest one, would boost their brands and I'm sure the agents would push them in that direction if the opportunity arose.

One scout said something about new CR7 and Messi.

In this world full of information, if new Messi and CR are born the world would already new about them.
From young age they would destroy everyone else.

So I belive in this story that this two will not reach level of Messi and CR.

I keep thinking about this.
But then again, no player who is 26 or younger are even close to their level atm.
That is a big sample size for a generation of players, and those 2 showed dominance in young age that no one since Messi & CR7 has shown other than Neymar.
Always easy to predict someone will come from nowhere to surpass them, but no one has showed that yet.

I think no team can pay for him this summer apart from City.
But for 2022 it's a real possibility he could end up at Liverpool.
FSG can give him a good contract, but the bottom line is that player's wish is a big factor these days, and sporting reasons play a much bigger role compared to money than what people think.
Same goes for Haaland

FSG recently got a shot in the arm by getting $750m USD of investment from RedBird and undisclosed amount of investment from Lebron James so they will have money to buy players, if necessary. Of course, that is not to say they will spend big on Mbappe or any other big ticket players right away.

They are in financial trouble with ownership that is even now struggling to keep their own players happy, and a coach who won't last long after 2022 (age and his own history suggest Klopp will sooner or later will fail to keep his team same level).
Also FSG is a group with "pay what you have" type of financial philosophy, they won't and will never be able to compete with likes of Chelsea/City/Manu now.

He can like them all he wants, at the end of the day he and his family want to get paid and wants a platform for their own brand.
Liverpool superstars are actually underpaid, which will never happen with Mpabbe. Their core is old now (other than their FB) and they have shown nothing to suggest they can rebuild.

I would put Liverpool as 7th chance to get him, after the likes of PSG,Chelsea,Manu,City,Barca & RM
Again, even the realistic Liverpool fans think such link is laughable and garbage.

Actually, CR doesnt quite fit that category, he wasnt really dominating opponents consistently as a teenager, unlike the others in question.
Certainly viewed as a big talent, there is a reason United got him right away, but like i said, it took a little while to get him going, so to speak.
