In germany people love this day. Even the postman or the cashiers make jokes. Today i went to a shop and bought a hot dog, the cashier said this makes 30€ !! I was furious, where on earth a hot dog costs 30€ ??!! Then he laughed and said 'April April'. These german people are unbelievable.

Varane + 100m I can understand, Vinicius? PSG would need to replace Mbappe with a prolific goal scorer and Vinicius is clearly not that, at least not yet.

Don't know. I'm ambivalent about it, but I guess I'd take it if it means securing at least 1 of the 2. If we do save whatever money we raise for Haaland as there may not be an opportunity later, we run the risk of not landing either of them. I don't think Mbappe would be high on us not valuing him as high as that guy and might develop 2nd thoughts if we spend the hard-raised 100+ on another guy.
Assuming we have Alaba locked in and are able to shift around significant amount of wage bill I'd probably take it.
I like Rafa as much as any other world class CB, but I feel he'll leave sooner than Zidane at this point and I don't know what would need to happen to get him to get back to his consistent level. He's nowhere near as bad as often made out and does a lot well contributing to this new fantastic defense we've developed. But don't know where his head is often times.
The main issue I find as elaborated in the Odegaard thread I would have thought is where do we make our money to make these big money deals happen as we recover from Corona. We do have ~80 in the coffers if budgets are to be believed. It looks almost impossible to shift anyone as either no one wants them, they don't want to go, they don't get the right contract offer from the new club or Real is offered a shitty fee (though in some cases this is becoming less and less of a problem as shitty fee > no fee at all). So many stumbling blocks on the way to making these work.

Surely if Varane goes Ramos would get the 1 or 2 year deal too. Can’t see both Varane and Ramos leaving. That being said I don’t think that deal will happen. Imo you’ll get Mbappe without a player included.

Yes. Except that would mean we have 3 CBs left behind so Alaba still needed. Unless we desperate stop gap with Vallejo as 4th option or whatever.

Man... don't know. Either will suck if Zidane is to stay. I feel making Varane leave will make it suck less and we could shift a lot of burden from the D to the front if money reinvested in a forward while also leaving options open for next season. Kounde, Pogba, Camavinga.. a lot of Frenchies will be on the market.
Sending Ramos packing is like sending Cristiano packing - lots would say no because they fear what happens when you bin the leader. But we gotta do it sometime and I wanted us to not look poorer without him for a while. This season in parts has proved we can play Varane-Nacho and not lose much in league. No idea how that would translate to CL and whether Alaba in that spot would be any good.
Both have benefits too so tough to say.
If I'm honest, I'd even let both leave if better manager was available and got Mbappe + an entirely new CB pairing to work with.
It would kind of suck for PSG. They have to pay Monaco 35 millions if Mbapp? is sold or renew. It would then just be a 65 M + Varane deal. Not a lot to reinvest in an attacking position.
Anyway, as expected, Mbapp? will run down his contract to get in the best position to negociate his deal with a club abroad.
PSG surely won't allow a player of his value to leave on a free, or are they confident of signing him to an extension? Only one year remaining on his contract. Been very few rumours about him, which is surprising.
