Real sure are favorites, but I wouldn't say Haaland is one shoe into his switch to Madrid just yet. Anything can happen, and I think City, with their resources, the presence of Pep and one of the best-functioning teams in the world right now, are still a very appealing proposition for Camp Haaland, not to mention his father's history with the club.
It s his fathers history that concerns me. He was seriously injured playing for City, because Roy Keane playing for United, decided to deliberately get him. Keane has admitted this.
Would his father now advise him to ‘stay away from the EPL?
MANCHESTER CITY midfielder Alf Inge Haaland has announced his retirement after failing to recover from a knee injury he says resulted from a tackle by Roy Keane. The 30-year-old damaged his left knee during a Manchester derby clash two seasons ago and has undergone three operations in an attempt to return to football. Ind.ie Aug 2003
