They will likely sort it out or FIFA will intervene. It's Ángel María Villar (RFEF) and Javier Tebas (LFP) who are fighting as usual.

I think that a compromise will be reached otherwise we might be in big trouble considering the upcoming Copa América.

I hope so because team is now "in the zone" if some matches will get posteponed we might lose our rhythm.

I take it that we'd play without Messi, Suarez, Mascherano and Neymar in that case because of Copa America? Which means a frontline of Pedro, Sandro and Munir against Atletico

Imagine us losing the title to RM because of those two postponed matches. The meltdown would be huge and rightfully so.

Montoya. Pique. Mathieu alba
Busi
Rakitic. Iniesta

If it happened, Atletico would lose a few vital players as well, Godin being the biggest loss. But i cant see the players leaving for copa america regardless, if Barca has to win against Atletico.

The club doesn't have to release the players for international duty and I doubt they would with the title to be won.

It can't really.

The spanish government passed a bill into law to centralize the liga tv deals (liga clubs previously negotiated individually).

The problem isn't that though, but basically anything else you can think of. Official reason i think is that the players aren't guaranteed a small % of revenue, but the spanish FA is also angry at the government for reportedly demanding to know all accounting details of its financial activities, which is deemed part of a crackdown that's also illustrated by the government going after players for fiscal issues ( messi the most famous case of course )

So the league and the government are pitted against the spanish fa and player's associations.

Can someone explain the problem in one sentence please?

If I understood correctly, the RFEF is cut out (or their share severly reduced) in the new TV deal so they're obviously not OK with that, and will probably take a few suitcases of cash from UnclePerez to disrupt LaLiga (losing Messi and Neymar would be a huge blow for barça) and try to get back on the deal.

Surely we don't have to release Messi and Neymar for the copa america if we haven't finished our season.

Keep seeing butthurt madridistas on the internet saying that this is our plan to make it easier to win the league, which makes no sense considering it hurts us too.

Anyway, really hope this shit gets resolved.

They will compromise. There's 10 days to resolve this, and a strike wouldn't help anyone. That's what I hope.
