Well, in my opinion, Mueller/Goetze/Alonso/Bastian/Lahm/Thiago/Hobjerg/Martinez are better than the midfielders Real Madrid can field, and Bernat/Boateng/Benatia/Dante/Alaba are better than their Real Madrid counterparts.

Iker is still very, very good, but not even closed to GOAT Neuer.

Alonso is nearing his pension years, Thiago will probably never play top level football again, Martinez has been absent for ages as well. And who is Hobjerg?

Benatia is one of the most overrated players in world football and to a certain extent so are Boateng and Dante. I mean, that Benatia seems slower than a turtle.

And as far as I have seen, Bayern have faced difficulties in several games this season. Their CL group, though strong on paper, was more of a joke really.

My bad, the correct spelling is Højbjerg, a bright, 19-year-old Danish international who is a Kroos-esque player I'd say. Only got to play a few times but every time he played he was quite impressive.

Don't recall that many Buli games where they struggled, and don't think you can say their CL group was a joke at all. Albeit worse than last season, City and Roma are no push-overs.

If I keep this up I will be become Ryu's best friend on this forum.
