Who's complaining? I simply noticed Alonso didn't exactly foul the guy in that instance and that red into achilles without touching the ball by Navarro was deserved as opposed what Hammy said. No more no less.

I understand where you are coming from, and I absolutely agree overall play is more important. However, I disagreed that Ronaldo's overall play (aside from scoring goals) is much better. He is still running like crazy and taking shots at every opportunity, not so much more than that.

Fair enough. I think cr is playing well though, better than Messi at least.

The problem I have with Suarez is he is not competing in champions league.

Footballing wise Messi is still way ahead above everyone else. It's just that his statistics don't back him up.

I know but I haven't seen it from his play recently. If he was even close to his usual form he'd be the best in the world right now.

Walking around and covering 2.5 km less than back to back forwards and you say his overall play is better?

So to you running and distance covered is everything? I have complained quite often about Messi's static movements, and I absolutely think Messi can do better at a few things right now, but other than running, what else is Ronaldo doing that Messi is not? Messi is often creating for others (for example the Romania game), is Ronaldo doing that?

Because of his lack of movement off the ball, he is not creating movement for himself or his team mates, that is why we are so easy to defend and we look like school boys playing infront of a bus, movement in football is everything. I admire CR7s hustle, the desire to score and create goals. Look at that marcelo assist for instance. Nowadays i see messi making more wrong decisions than before shoots when he should pass, and he is no longer clinical infront of goal with the chances he misses!
Ronaldo takes more shots because that is his style
