I have no qualms with your criticism on Messi, I agree very much. But Ronaldo? Yes his desire to score is unrivaled, but to create? Sorry I did not see anything special with that assist to Marcelo, yes it was nice that he found him, but that assist pretty much typifies Ronaldo's assists, at least most of them, feeding the ball to a teammate in front of the goal. It is being done by so many players on a daily basis, what's so special?

It is not his job to create! That job has been handed to xabi, di maria, isco, modric and the full backs.
He is there for counterattacks, making great runs, shooting outside the box, freekicks and scoring.
It is not CR7's fault that we have overloaded messi with responsibility!
You dont go to a toaster and ask it to give you ice cream do you!

Ok, so you are saying as a pure striker Ronaldo is better than Messi because Messi is more than just a striker and he is being asked too much of?

OK. I rather take this Messi than this Ronaldo. Just me.

Okay then! Also notice that RMA plays differently!
And sadly according to you a player needs to do everything. No wonder players underperform for us and not other teams. No wonder the neymar-messi duo is laughable while the BBC trio of madrid is fluorishing!!
I am sorry but messi's return has brought more harm than good, that should tell you if he is really all that!

I am not saying players need to do everything. Messi happens to be a more complete player than Ronaldo, and he became the victim of his own success/talent, as expectations on him are much higher than Ronaldo's. Messi has to do everything right since he is not only judged by scoring goals, whereas Ronaldo simply has to keep on scoring to win praises from everyone.

Have a little faith in your team and players. Or go support Real Madrid.

I am sorry but assists, number of dribbles, link up play are not considered! Even so Messi was a bettar player for last few years but he has regressed a lot, and now he is slightly behind ribery, ibra, suarez and cr 7 with the first three being the top three

I am confused, what do you mean by those not being considered, then claiming the likes of Ribery better than him? I agreed that overall Ibra and Suarez are playing better at the moment, just not Ronaldo. Ribery? Great dribbler, nice assist numbers, that's pretty much it. Riding the Bayern train. Robben was better.

Messi hasn't hit his top form yet, do you agree or not?

He is a damn winger his main job is to assist not take a shot whenever he has the ball in his feet and if he doesn't hustle then he is a very poor winger. Just look at Alexis and Pedro they hustle much more than Ronaldo because thats what they should be doing and they are better at tracking back as well. Messi and Ronaldo are ridiculous comparisons in layman terms they are both attacker but footballing wise they have 2 different roles in their respective teams

He is a goal scoring winger who deifts inside frequently. Who cares the number of assists he gets as long as he scores goals and makes the frontline even a bigger threat because the cf and the wingers can score

You say his job is to give assists, are you ancelloti? Have you given him that role?
If hedoesnt do that it is because that is not the role he has been assigned.
So please dont generalize the role of a winger. And the fact that he did all those things in man utd prove that his assigned role has changed
