With what? His goals? Messi has been scoring consistently lately, almost evetpry game, except for yesterday. Being the best player is more than scoring goals though.

Why? Before he was banned for three games he was very so so in Janury and the first two weeks of February. He was in a slump/cold streak. Since he came out of the ban he scored several goals for Rm and his NT, while Messi also kept his scoring streak going. What makes him better than Messi at the moment?

The overall play of Messi is subpar by his standards, while cristiano is playing very well. You could make an argument for Ibra too and it would be hard to disagree with that.
