I don't really like the "we don't deserve it" talk .. we deserve it more than anyone, we have had a relentless run since start of last season, the players are not machines, intl break and difficult CL draws in chain will do that, we slipped for a month, the fact we got so far says we're the most deserving of them all !

It's simple to me. If we don't win it by now we didn't deserve it. And if we don't deserve it I want it to go to Atletico as a small consolidation.

I still can't find myself wanting to cheer for them in the league unless we are definitely out of the competition, in that case, I would prefer them winning the league to Real Madrid, of course.

I am definitely cheering for them in the CL though, if they manage to kick Bsyern out I would be an atletico fan for three months.

Dont think players being tired is an excuse either.

Lucho had ample opportunity to rest them and didnt.

Real could have used that excuse after running out of gas last year and it wouldnt wash. Did they not win over 20 in a row at one stage?

Not an excuse no, but the run of games have been insane, with Copa America and the Supercups + CWC on top of facing every strong team available in UCL.

More or less what Real could say last year. I would say best teams left in CL are Real and Bayern and didnt face them. Came up against ONE good side in CL who are not the best for me.

If league is lost because players are tired then Lucho or the players who refuse to be rested are to blame.

Don't think so. Their team is near to exhaustion, so there are no easy games for Atleti. They can't beat someone

Real have drawn Dortmund more than once in recent years, have drawn Bayern, have drawn Man Utd when strong, have drawn Atletico. When these games were amongst the hardest they could get.

Not sure City are any easier than Atletico this year. They have beaten better teams in the CL than they have.

I think their run to the semis has been tougher.

The best team on paper either has faced is Barca who were going through awful form.

Atletico were very nearly eliminated before that and were not that great in the group.

Of the two I think Man City has looked a bit better this season.

It doesn't really matter if it is 8:0 or 1:0, in the end it is 3 points. Plus, Atletico is not known for having a robust offense so they have a lot of 1:0 wins.
