Never get back with an ex, never move back to a former club.

You should know the rules Abelardo, you should know the rules.

1 win out of 12, with 8 losses. Can't argue with that really. If you count his Espanyol run it means Abelardo has only won 6 games since the end of 2019.

Horrible stats that will make it hard to get a job higher than LaLiga cannon fodder or Segunda promotion hopefuls next.

Simeone is keeping a tape of this match to show his players, "You see!?, that is how you win matches, that is how I want you to play".

Atletico had some late winners this season. Most to pull of the "88 minutes @*#& and then goal" has to be Madrid.

Which one? Baptista winner?

No, that was the season of the Messi hattrick at camp nou but we finished 2nd due to H2H difference (Lost 2-0 at Bernabeu and tied 3-3 at Camp Nou). If I recall correctly, we were up by 4 points after the tie vs RM in March. However we also tied vs Espanyol and Betis after that which fuked us

Yeah, they are undeperforming, don't think their team is really that bad. They're missing Lucas Perez's goals. He and Joselu have both scored 11 goals last season. Joselu is now at 7 so he could still reach last year's mark but Perez only has 4 goals.

Javi Calleja has already been named their new coach, we'll see if he can save them.

But at least they beat Madrid away earlier in the season (still under Pablo Machin).
