What Birdy is saying does make sense. I mean, why have we cules given up on La Liga even though it is still mathematically possible to win it? Why shouldn't we be as motivated to win the next game as we were to win the previous one? It is because our chances have dwindled. But the same goes for Real since Atletico has won the most difficult fixture of the three that were left.

I think we are out of it. Atletico will not only get 1 point from those two matches left.
Madrid might snatch it on a h2h results if they win all their matches but its unlikely.
I think Atletico nearly won it. Which is good for la liga but still pisses me off since we should have 81 points easily at this point.

Yeah but if Madrid win tonight they are just two points behind. Their better h2h record against Atletico means they just require them to draw one game of the two for them to capitalise on it as long as they do their job and win.

Our h2h record was worse against both Atletico and Real wasn’t it so we required more than one bad result as finishing on equal points is no good for us.

Guess ultimately it seems slightly more in reach for them because of that h2h record.

I dont think that Real will be less motivated as even one draw of atletico would be enough for real to win the title.

We suck at taking advantage of gifts whenever they present themselves anyway.

I think a draw tonight would be for the best almost, there's no real prestige to winning this title anyway and more counts towards money received for it and offset Covid. Zidane sounds like he checked out for the next season so might as well lose it here, play out last 2 games and think about the summer. Will mean way more to Atletico and TBF they deserve it, both other competitors were not good enough even if Atleti almost bottled it with smaller club insecurity.
