I am sure I remember watching him comment that game, but might be a false memory?
It's obvious that he is truly passionate and understands the game well, whatever you think about his style.

No doubt he's passionate and understands the game but you wouldn't be sure with the way he describes some good moments as genius moments. Sometimes I see the complete opposite when commentators on sky dont even comment on brilliant bits of play and that's also annoying

Didn't EV lose to Levante and this board had a shitstorm brewing? Lmao gotta give it to EV and masalagician, EV had us absolutely dominating the meme teams until the last few months.

I can see him being annoying and too over the top after a while
Much nostalghia for me as I used to watch the games with him on shitty streams 15 or so years ago, and then I mostly heard him in youtube clips and so on.

But it's so rare for someone to notice many of Busquets brilliant passes between the lines or Messis smaller body feints or so on, I feel a bit of love for him almost because of that!

He also is a MASSIVE Puig fanboy as of late, more so than even you I would say. Always complains about RK not playing him.

Not to mention how we played back then was actually worthy of his (over)excitement, and we lived through that together with him (at least I did). Nowadays I can totally understand, if fans think he's over the top, when his style of commentating hasn't changed, but our quality of play most certainly has.

Since late last season, he has actually voiced his concerns about our bad transfers and bad tactics. He will still go crazy over any bits of magic, but he calls it like it is as of late. He doesn’t live with the nostalgia of the past anymore

I read that in threads here as well, just goes to show he indeed understands the game!

lol I now remember him calling Isaac Cuenca "the wonderful adam's apple"
That was probably soon before I didn't need the illegal streams anymore...

Well done to Madrid, hopefully finishing 3rd (while losing all the biggest games of the season) behind eternal bottlers Atletico and one of the worst, if not the worst Madrid in years is the final nail in the coffin for Cowman. Time for Pimienta or Ten Hag, please.
