Pedri is a good player. Bellingham is a class above though. A complete AM with dribbling, final pass and goals in him.

To be clear, yes, Bellingham is a more valuable player than Pedri, but they are very different so its hard to compare them directly as 'midfielders'.

Pedri is much more first phases of play and class at that bit.

True, think they are complimentary to one another

It's getting worrying, but there's still the honeymoon phase to cling on

Just stay close in points until the Clasico and crush their hope then. Easy. Pedri is coming back, it's written in the stars :worthy:

Nice to see diamond actually works well vs minnows without a midfield

1-0 always a bit sus and we still have a DM at CB. But hopefully can bring this home without much effort

You have De Jong as a deeper player. Pedri is not that needed in any midfield formation. Luxury player until he starts to produce some killer passes from positional play.

He has potential to be a better passer than Bellingham in short spaces, but needs to actually show it on the field.

Goodness.
The irony is you talk about if players are expensive on the market or not and use that as a parameter to judge if they're top players.

Without realising that if Pedri was available he'd cost MINIMUM 100m and most likely closer to 150.
