De Jong is a very good player, they are just different profiles, both have their uses.

Don't tell that to the De jong fan boys.

Valverde is apparently useless and only scores a few goals here & there.

He's been great this season

Osasuna are basically absent and overran the entire day. If not for lack of CBs this would of been 4 nil at HT

Good game without even having to get into 2nd gear
Good to see Vini doing well centrally, Fede good game

Clasico shaping up nicely if players stay fit

Madrid and Barca both have excellent midfields. Madrid's is a bit superior because Barca need a solid Busi replacement in his prime.

To be serious, why not play Mendy at CB, he has the profile for it, and he contributes next to nothing offensively anyway, while Camavinga can contribute more to the game offensively.
Too many CBs as is
And Carlo loves Alaba, will play him no matter what

Classico shaping up for a Barca defeat as it stands.
Madrid typically starts well their seasons under Ancelotti, they later implode, this is happening this season as well.
At the same time, Xavi looks more and more clueless how to make his team functional after 2 years at the hel,.

All all the key injuries to that picture and you have the overview of the Classico

In the elite games, Like I said months ago, we'll play de jong as DM, with gavi/gundogan.

Oriol is here for la Liga games.

El clasico will be interesting midfield is by far both teams biggest strength this season.

Yes, Bellingham is a better player than Raphinha.

Obviously if Ancelotti had Pedri, he would be benching one of their French Ham and Eggers to play Pedri with Bellingham.

Well, if he wasn't injured that is.

With our current injuries and situation at DM, eh. Defence is as good as it gets.

Want nothing more than Gavi being the match winner  Would literally kill for that.

Absolute nonsense
The opposite is the case where autumn has historically been where title was often lost, dry and average winter till Feb, and spring where preparation kicked in + team switched on to play biggest clubs in CL knockouts
