The irony is you talk about if players are expensive on the market or not and use that as a parameter to judge if they're top players.
Without realising that if Pedri was available he'd cost MINIMUM 100m and most likely closer to 150.
Usually, you get what you pay for. Expensive players tend to be better than cheaper ones. This doesn't mean that exceptions don't happen.
