I am sure. It's like that with Atletico usually, hard game and all, but their defense is not the fortress it was in mid 10s. And we've been impressive in derbies.

But I do think we should never lose sight on fact we have kids in our team. Not winning here or there…our team remains impressive.

Pena been excellent. Having him instead of the terrorist is a plus. This is not a joke. Only game we lost in CL was with the German clowning around and costing us a red card vs Monaco.

I quite like a keeper that doesn't attempt fancy passes. The total blunder count of Pena is still zero after months of action.

Of course Pena is gonna let in goals from top executions like the one from the Betis game. I can deal with that gladly.

Youre missing point. Yea pena been great I have praised him and I don’t like ter stegen for numerous reasons. But as you said he is going to make mistakes here and there. He is not top top level keeper. So again, we are doing really well all things considering. Hope people don’t lose sight on that and too quick to draw pitchforks.

Pena is overperforming. There are 3-4 keepers that do more, and we enter comparisons with likes of Courtois and Dibu, which are not needed.

I don't care what his level is, I only care about what he does on the field. Can't blame him for anything yet.

What he did so far can't be called mistakes imo. People blame him for Dortmund where he conceded a goal when he was left alone vs 2 Dortmund players lol. He got cooked by a bad offside trap attempt.

I would say he saved more goals with top saves than he conceded poorly.

Are you that sure he will make big mistakes? I see nothing so far and the sample size is consistent.

Tend to agree with this - think it's best to be proactive.

Though it feels harsh to bench a guy if he isn't letting the team down. A factor in Flick's thinking might also be if he brings Tek in and he makes a mistake, Flick might be destroyed by the media himself.
