This is why I was saying that Coutinho has to be dropped. He offers nothing on that left wing vs defensively organized teams. Playing without wingers against such a low block in an away game is insanity, doing the same over and over. Need to get Dembele on asap.

There are still some delusional people here who think he should be on the starting line up after stinking up both Bayern and our cub for the past 3 years.

Standard protocol this season, we look better but not by much, in control to some extent and then our defence or keeper gifts a goal that allows the opposition to sit back. How many goals have we conceded from individual errors this year? I've got it at 6.

These crosses need a FOX IN THE BOX; a strong forward like Lewandowski or similar, who are good shooters/opportunists in front of the goal (headers, fast shot..).

It’s weird how this entire forum basically says the same shit regarding tactics for the last two years and nothing changes

Every deffender positions h8mself to stop his cut inside from that left wing. And the fucker doesn't even try to turn left and cut on 5 m. Noooo he goes and goes and goes inside and fucks it.

We were shite before, we are shite nowt. I've said that we lack the quality. But go ahead, wank yourselves silly over those CL wins.

Put Dembele on for any of Messi, Griezmann or Coutinho from the starting 11 and we would look much better. Today is about poor squad selection.

Nah no one is getting worked up other than saying played better against a side not any better than this.

You try to make out it is down to Cadiz being better as you think it reflects badly on Messi if folk claim worse tonight.

Can tell when you are rattled... you start thinking about other posters sexually.

Messi, Coutinho, Busquets, De Jong, Griezmann should all be on a level playing field with the rest of the team. He can't begin to fathom the possibility they shouldn't be automatic starters.

None of the above would be dropped for bad form or performances, I can guarantee there are others he wouldn't give a sniff too if they were making the same errors. This unwarranted hierarchy will continue to cripple and stifle Barca for as long as this exists.

Nothing about Koeman encourages me to think he will realise this though.

And this slows us down too much. Messi holding the ball five seconds won't do crap vs parked bus. Opponent has too much time to stay organized.n

Yea, but that's how he'd play regardless. I watched him closely, and just because he isn't passed when he drops deep by some miracle, he still doesn't make any run and switches off.

That's how he is atm. You either mold around him and suffer the consequences, or you move on from him. It's not about his passing, or even about his dribbling. It's about his body. He's just over the hill.

I tend to agree with BBZ. No going back from this. And this is supposed to be rested Messi.

I like it that there's always an excuse, but in the end we still don't know what is our starting eleven.
Mighty Ferenc and D Kiev, the golden standard. Games were all misfits look like Ronaldinho

Thought we were decent for most of the half, especially after they scored. Their GK has been immense, tho. Cou, Busi, Griezmann and Alba are all a disaster so far.

Messi is the biggest problem for me. Griezmann is better than him playing behind a striker. Because his legs aren't gone. Look at Messi a bit. His legs are totally gone. He just can't play any other way than drop deep and attract balls like a magnet, especially from veterans. Eventually from others too. Then he does his thing. Of course, being Messi sometimes he plays some genius ball, but the effect this has on how we look generally is extremely bad for a rebuilding side.

Nah, Coutinho easily. Offering absolutely fuck all, with Griezmann not far behind.
