I like it that there's always an excuse, but in the end we still don't know what is our starting eleven.
Mighty Ferenc and D Kiev, the golden standard. Games were all misfits look like Ronaldinho

Nah mate don't try to spin this. We were playing without the ball-hogger machine Messi in those games. Without Coutinho too. If anything it makes you look worse.

As opposed to none of them looking like Ronaldinho vs the mighty Cadiz...

What point are you trying to make ?

We are playing with 3 fucking 10's who are all quite slow.

Nah, Coutinho easily. Offering absolutely fuck all, with Griezmann not far behind.

Yea, sure, but Coutinho is not influencing the overall aspect of the play to the degree Messi is, not anywhere near. Even if he is replaced with Dembele, people will still be passing to Messi to try one hero ball after another.

We were shite before, we are shite nowt. I've said that we lack the quality. But go ahead, wank yourselves silly over those CL wins.

People forget that we have a really easy group. Even Juventus is not that strong this year. The only decent win we had in the group was Juventus away, but Juventus were missing a few of their starters. It isn't really surprising we're winning that group comfortably.

We're going to be really inconsistent this season. Our squad simply isn't good enough. I expect Messi to force a lot of his passes and his dribbles in the 2nd half. He'll probably shoot a lot of long-range shots in the 2nd half.

The problem isn't necessarily an individual player it's putting all those individuals into the same starting lineup. Coutinho is just playing objectively quite badly, Griezmann has been crowded out of the game and Messi has been similar except a couple of passes.

Yea, but that's how he'd play regardless. I watched him closely, and just because he isn't passed when he drops deep by some miracle, he still doesn't make any run and switches off.

That's how he is atm. You either mold around him and suffer the consequences, or you move on from him. It's not about his passing, or even about his dribbling. It's about his body. He's just over the hill.

I tend to agree with BBZ. No going back from this. And this is supposed to be rested Messi.

Messi is useless against parked buses in tight games nowadays. He's only useful when Barca are already winning and the game is easy.

Sure thing it's not good enough to beat a newly promoted side. My god, the delusion

He is though, his influence is that we can't attack down that side through him. That massively shifts the attacking burden on the other players and mostly Messi.

That's how it looks. Best formula currently is Braithwaite - Fati, Griezmann, Dembele. Messi needs to leave. He just can't be quick mobile enough anymore. He's still great on the ball, but it doesn't do much when he's so static. Every attack needs to go through him or he's a passenger.

There's not much room but on on occasion Busi or Frenkie is running towards the box and Braithwait and Messi are in front of him fairly close together probably 8 and 5 yards respectivey. Nither make a run in behind. That is absolutely Braithwaite's run to take the player and leave a short pass for Mess with the technica ability to turn (or MB receives in behind and cus back). Both just stood and watched as the midfielder had to turn back and pass off.

Surely Cout will be out at HT. Cant play as a LW never has and been atrocious even then.

Need someone that can run with pace and put in a ball.

No one in that first half can.

Aye Cadiz are not bums....

Folk liked aspects of what Barca showed in those games in which are failing badly to do tonight against another poorer side of not any better standard.
