That was my wildcard pick.

And that wasn't my first problem with Flick. The guy isn't even interesting personality wise, that's what I was pointing out.
Need to let Jurgen Klopp have a sabbatical, get some numpty for a year and then bring him in refreshed and ready to go.

Although I’d definitely be happy with Arnie Slot or Thiago Motta. Two coaches doing impressive jobs but don’t quite have the Alonso or Arteta PR currently that would need a big compensation fee paid to get them.

Slot I agree. Top work shown so far.
Motta is not ready for Barca yet. He needs another solid good step after Bologna. Then we can talk

Yes, yes, I remember the game. Bayern absolutely battered them.
If Lewa was on the pitch on the return leg in Paris instead of Choupo, they would have eliminated them for sure.

No one wins sextuple by leveling everyone to the ground out of pure luck, you dummy

'covid cl' my ass!
What bayern did that season was remarkable: they steamrolled everyone they played against. Putting 7 past spurs, 8 past Barca, they would have humbled Madrid or City if they played against them as well.
The only team that was comparable to their level that season was Pool when won the league with 99 pts. But even against them, Bayern would have been unplayable
And then Flick continued next season with the same football, battering teams, and as Fati above said, were unlucky against PSG to go out.
This is the football we want to see at Barca, not horrorball like Xavi's

As for aura, charisma, and personality, you are again talking out of your ignorant bum.
Look at how much Bayern players respected him, they demanded to stay as 1st team coach after he was initially hired as interim. Everyone at Germany NT respected him, because HE built over 10 years the NT that won the WC, and not Loev who was the front-man.
Educate your ignorant self for once
He's so good both Bayern and NT booted him out. And no big club took a punt on him.

He built German NT for 10 years then goes and demolishes it by getting spanked by Japan.

Birdy, I know you have your shitty picks like Dembele, Pochettino etc. But this has to be the most stupid of them all.

Not only you don't get footbal, but you are even out and out lying.
Everybody and their mothers knows that HE chose to leave Bayern, and Rummenige and co were pleading him to not leave.

What year is it mate? Busi Messi Suarez and Alba are still playing football together. Go watch

"HE chose" as in got out before they could fire him. Ran to a NT job thinking it was a cosy environment which he knew.

Bayern hardly gave a fuck about him, didn't back him up in the transfer market and couldn't wait to get Nagelsmann.

No top manager goes into coaching national teams these days, apart from when they are old/not wanted anymore by clubs.

Numpty as in Motta, Slot or Still. That's my idea also. Get some cheap up and coming manager. If it works then we hit the jackpot, if not we're going for Klopp.

Tuchel might be on the market if he loses the title to Xabi Alonso. But don't know if he's worth the trouble.

I'd go with Arteta/Xabi, but probably out of reach for us. Otherwise I'd take a punt on someone like Will Still or some other unproven former player who hasn't failed yet in management.

Mind you, the unproven guys I would choose as temporary solutions or picks to hope for a jackpot.

I love Arteta and Xabi but very unrealistic and if we can get a proven coach, why should we take an unproven one🤔 if Flick or De Zerbi fails we can still look for Klopp in 2-3years

Im surprised you didnt mention De Zerbi so you put him in the bum category? :pique:
