So Flick is unemployed right now, correct? Just reach an agreement with Xavi and get rid now. If the manager we are lining up for the summer is free now, why wait? Do we really have to watch Napoli demolish us to pull the trigger?

People have PTSD from that 8 2 thrashing 😆

Pretty much this... I was trying to not be disingenuous and see if people have real valid points against Flick.
There is none.
- BS regarding the 'covid half season', when he played the same football of the same intensity for 1.5 years, leveling every team they faced.
- His supposed failure with the German NT. While they don't even know that he created the NT that won the WC.

There is nothing to take seriously here. Just the spite towards someone they don't know, but spanked Barca.
Especially from plebs like Malvolio, who saw him humiliating his favorite version of Barca -> the amigos coached by their beloved Ernie

PS: That's also the reason there is constant spite here for Pool and Bayern.
I bet if Klopp wasn't such shining and likeable human being, there would be uttering same crap about him.

How did Hansi Flick create the German NT that won the World Cup? What is that based on? Pure vibes?

I know some people started claiming that based off on Flick's success with Bayern and Low's tenure ending badly, but that's incredibly disingenuous to even purport considering Flick got his shot with the German NT and did worse.

Club football and national team football are two entirely different things.

I think I read that Amorim has a 30 million buyout clause. If that's the case you can forget him.
The two available options are Naglesmann and Flick.
I still think we will hire someone underwhelming with a Barca connection.

Stop basing your conclusions on National Team performances.

National Team setups are irrelevant in club Football. Different pace. Different frequency.

You don't get to train your squad week in week out.

Flick's energetic high pressing, hyper attacking style needs regular coaching sessions. Can't be achieved with National Teams where you meet once every 4 months.

National Team success comes down to individuals, group camaraderie, team spirit and luck.

Flick's style of play isn't the simple defensive "go out there and express yourself" crap.

RL9 has played under numerous all time great coaches and numerous PE teachers. He knows the difference and rates Flick very highly.

Can only judge Flick on what he built at Bayern. Would have won back to back CLs if he had his main man fit for the PSG tie where they battered PSG. His Bayern team played the most entertaining, modern and ruthless Football. You lot should know that better than others.

Oh and how much did he spend? Got the best out of clever loan deals like Perisic and Coutinho too.

He has the experience of doing that at one of the biggest clubs in the world where the manager is under huge pressure.

It is the usual non sense of assistant that is the real brain behind success that people loves.
People never learn with that tbh

What you mean there is none?

He is the worst manager in the history of Germany NT.

Yes he won a lot with Bayern cool but we are closer to Germany NT than that Bayern team.

Look how we will perform for a club on a budget rather than looking at his best possible level.

He has spent most of his career being an assistant manger and where are all the clubs desperate to hire him after his sacking since he’s so good?

No one wanted him and there a reason for that

And that’s why he’s an awful choice

Yeah, makes no sense considering Low was the one who brought him in, and that Germany were starting to have some success again prior to that which Low and his team built on together later.

It's like the old days when people would claim Tito was the brains behind Pep's success.

Pep, Klopp, Rijkaard, Ancelotti were all claimed to have assistant who are the real brain.
