I'm not even sure how Arteta would do here. Let's see if he can win anything this season.

Had time and consistent money to build his team too. Coming up 5 years now.

All managers in EPL from Tottenham and up get time and a lot of money to built their sides. And yet some end up building top sides, and some don't.

City, Pool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, United. These are all the biggest spenders in the game with likes of PSG and Madrid mixed in. Arsenal came from even farther back than Chelsea, United and Tottenham. Thanks in large part to Arteta.

Right, but Arteta has been given time. The team he inherited finished 5th, 5th and 6th while Arteta's first two seasons finished 8th before getting back to 5th.

So he actually regressed for 3 seasons but was given time to work, and now we are seeing a top side- albeit without proof of being a Champion winning side. So let's see if that changes this year.

So his curve has actually been slower than Post at Spuds and even Ten Cate at United. So there's food for thought.

I wouldn't put him on the level of Pep and Klopp until he can prove otherwise. If he can't close the deal then he is just another Pocchetino at this stage.

Why are people shitting on ETH?
Apparently his win percentage is only behind SAF.
It's 70 percent, only 1 percent behind SAF.
I would still prefer hom over Xavi anyday.

That's true. They have been very patient with Arteta, despite him not have very good results in his initial 2-3 seasons.

But, for example, you really think next season in his 3rd year likes of ETH are gonna mount a title challenge at United? Arteta improved a lot in each season almost. Took it gradually. From finishing outside of top 4 a couple of years, to almost pushing City hard last season, to proper fight for the title this season.

To be at that level, likes of ETH, Poch, and Ange will have a mountain to climb. Don't think they are up for it personally.

Serghei is extremely anti-ten hag since his appointment at man u. He needs him to fail to prove a point about xavi.

Haha, no, but it's funny seeing him fail considering how many fans he has around this joint. I'll give you that.

In Arteta's credit aswell he won the FA Cup final in his first season. I just looked it up and they beat Chelsea that year, who were the league winners (Conte right? who had a bloody good side)

In regards to Poch though, he amounted a similar title challenge with Spuds, maintained CL positioning for a number of seasons and reached a CL final. So he already has shown more pedigree than Arteta. This all ignoring PSG stint for the obvious reason of it being a one team league.

We will see what he can do with Chelsea. There signing policy has not been kind to him in fairness. Alot of potential but little realities, and those close to reality had long term injuries.

ETH yeah, needs to do much better next season. Let's see if their new board, and sporting direction can help him build a better squad. Just like Xavi, keep him out of the transfer decision making.

Poch has been on a downfall for years though. CL final is quite some time ago, back in 2019. At PSG he was pretty average, and his league position these days is simply unacceptable.

The manager also adds plus-value to the team. The squads of United and Chelsea are very good. Not elite like City of course, but far better than their current results would suggest. United for example had a piss easy CL group this season, should have easily ended up 2nd, and ETH managed to end up 4th. Against 3rd level teams like Galatasaray and Coppenhagen no less.

They have done a mediocre job at best so far. What will happen over the next seasons we shall see, that is if they still get credit to prove themselves and don't get sacked in the process.

Nobody expects them to challenge for the title so early, but they of course have to do much better than they did so far. Should be involved in the battle for the 4th position, not so many points behind Villa/Tottenham.

Keep exposing yourself as a donkey who will go 'blowjobjohnny' for everyone but Xavi.

ETH's win percentage is 59% at United, lower than Xavi's 63% at Barca.

If you weren't a donkey, you wouldn't even need to look at the numbers to realize ETH's can't have a 70% win percentage considering United is a mid table team

Well, to be honest, it is surprising that the percentages aren't that different, considering the levels of both teams.

ETH has had a less successful job at United than Xavi at Barca so far, for sure though.

Managing United in the PL is much tougher than managing Barca in the LL, donkey.

That win percentage stat favours ETH lol. Get your head out of Xavi's ass ya numpty. :clown:

Won't be long before you start comparing Xavi's win rate to De Zerbi's at Brighton like the genius you are.
