as said before Sneijder rated Motta highly for the barca job. So best to stay away.

Out of all alternative names brought up and availabe would only go with de Zerbi.
De Zerbi? He's a second rate bum.

I'd rather take a punt on Wil Still. At least he's a Football Manager junkie.

Why second rate bum? Just based on current season brighton results?

They lost a lot of keyplayers new season transfer window

Market doesn't seem that favorable though:
Motta to Juve
Xabi to stay another season at Leverkusen?
Amorim to Liverpool?
Arteta don't think he leaves an Arsenal side he built

That leaves us with Ze Jermans - Nagelsmann probably to Prem or Bayern again, Bumsi Flick and crazy Tuchel.

I'm mostly thinking about the free signings. So that's the Germans and Sergio Conceicao.

Naggelsmann being the standout of them with Tuchel highly questionable after what is happening at Bayern this year.

Sergio Conceicao even has way more pedigree and success than Marquez.

Marquez has the same issue as Xavi. Had a bit of a 'mare this season and then hit a purple patch of form in the last 10 games or so that makes many discard what has come previous.

If we were to include employed options then Motta should have been higher on the list but seems he has been negotiating with Juve for months.

The state of Barca fans in this post
You are arguably the most clueless user around here (apart from BBZs Euro predictions run ), so I take that as further confirmation.

Also curious how you consistently make excuses for the likes of Poch and Ten Hag despite them having far worse results with vastly more resources.

Edit: while we are at it: you jump at literally every hipster coach with zero critical thought as well. Like that Tottenham fella.

Anyone who understands even 1% of football knows that all of Poch, ETH, Ange are >>>>>>>>>> Qatari prince-apprentice
Professionals in football know, club officials and operators know, agents know

Whether a small deluded part of BF/fanbase knows or wants to keep living in their imaginary bubble is immaterial for the football world

Reality will keep slapping you hard in the face, and you keep asking for more
Poor helpless guy

If we are begging Xavi to stay, it is either financial, or having a plan for 2025 that we want to stick with.
Non of that is being clueless or stupid tbh.

Please...
Not into that 'they should have a plan' fantasy again.
3 years already of Laporta's doings and non-doings in his 2nd stint are enough evidence to see that he doesn't have a clue of what he is doing

His track record as manager is questionable to say the least. Also a nothing player. Don't know where the hype for him comes from.

This is small club thinking tbf. Things change all the time in top level management. And why is everyone so sure that if we get Klopp after his sabbatical he will be here for years guaranteeing succes.
If someone is available this Summer sign him up.
If we get a sheikh at Barca, then maybe you can do what City did with Pep. Otherwise no manager's job is safe here.

Fingers crossed Xavi changes his mind. Certainly feels like it, but maybe I am delusional.

True. Jumping into the next tier of managers is very difficult for the current situation of the club. Some lateral movements are possible post-Xavi though. Meaning some other good manager that can pick up the team and achieve more or less at the level of Xavi.

The group of managers that can almost surely elevate the team past Xavi's ability is Pep, Klopp, Arteta. From there the decline to the next group is quite big. Of course, it's a very small chance we hire a B-team manager and he turns out to be a big hit, like a true Cinderella story. Possible, but highly unlikely.

I'm not even sure how Arteta would do here. Let's see if he can win anything this season.

Had time and consistent money to build his team too. Coming up 5 years now.
