Lionel Messi - v7

That's debatable. It also misses my point: you can't shift his prime to suit your narrative. He didn't retire in 2015.

EDIT: It sounds like you're getting triggered my dude. Chill. It's just the internet.

Make a poll and the result will embarrass you like Birdy got embarrassed with that Bayern 19/20 >>> Pep's Barca 10/11.

Do it.

You are happy to list similarly 'pointless' facts in defence of Messi. So be consistent: either they count or not.

Also--it's not about whether you 'care'. That's the least interesting thing at stake. It's about whether the facts themselves are true. Whether they put you to sleep or make you jump in joy is irrelevant.

Isn't that the point? We leave listing pointless facts to you. And let you think they have some merit. Even if they're true. Factually.

Anyways, you've clearly overdone it since even the loudest haters like bbz and serghei are silent these days. Can't even hate on Messi for real while you're listing "facts". United the forum. That's something. I guess.

But since I obviously have no intention of contributing to the pointless facts listing going on around here...

I'm oot :coffee:

I mean, Messi was so phenomenal at his peak that I actually don't think his 2008/2009 season is as good as what he began to deliver between 2011 and 2015. He was much better overall in those years so that's why I call it his prime.

I'm not wedded to this, though. I'll even grant you that his prime began in 2008. That still doesn't mean he retired in 2015 at the age of 28.

I have recognized the validity of those facts when appropriate. The rest is wishful thinking.

I'm also not here to entertain anyone, lol, so I'm not entirely sure what your point about silence is. Whether others are excited or not really is besides the point.

Messi just decided to have a coffee, instead of yerba mate.

The news is that he's agreed to a pre-contract with Man City, but yet to sign it. He will hear out what Laporta offers him before signing the contract with Man City. #MysticAK

Would be okay for me. I definitely prefer Messi to stay, but him at City is indefinitely more exciting than PSG and the french league.

If it's anything other than he's staying then this is some shit he needs to leave till the end of the season to say. We're currently fighting for 2 trophies
