If Barca win double it is a great story to build towards a balondor.

I don't think that Messi is aiming at BallonD'Or in this stage of his career, to be honest.
He just wants to get collective titles right now, and to be happy with a good team around him that gets the desired results.
It would be a beautiful year for him if Barca win LaLiga and Argentina wins CopaAmerica !
As for BallonD'or, I think that Mbappe is actually favorite, and maybe Neymar also for this year. Lewandowski and DeBruyne may have some chances also but they are not favorites actually.

IMO needs to win Copa America to have it 100 % in the bag. Even if France only reach Euro finals, Mbappe will still have a good shot. I have no doubt they will win Ligue 1 (they barely play 100 % in most of their matches).
