I would go for Aguero as a rotation striker, not as a starter.
For the starter position as a 9, we need Haaland.
(Aguero is not a starter anymore at ManCity, and he is very injury-prone and slower. Can't rely on him).

If I were Messi, I'd ask for a player like Son on the left; he would help us a lot !
He is way more disciplined and positive than Neymar.
He is faster than Griezmann; can make very good runs.
He is way more intelligent than Dembele, and his finishing is very good.
He is not injury-prone and has a very good stamina; can attack and defend very well. He would be a perfect left winger for Barcelona in many tactical dispositions and can work very well with Messi, better than any other name.
Son + Haaland would be a perfect mercato. And sell coutinho + one of the two: dembele or griezmann.

If Son learns Spanish, he can be Messi's best-friend too.
He is a cool guy and easy to connect with.
If Messi became a close-friend with someone like Suarez, then he could also with Son ! haha
And here we talk about football and the functioning of the team. It's in the interest of Messi to create a balanced team that wins trophies, not a team of just "friends". You can't succeed that way.
