Lionel Messi - v7

These are such trivial things I am surprised you even care about it.

Hierarchy and power play can be very toxic especially under weak management and yes men .. but hopefully with the new president and the changes coming we will be able to focus on football once again and create a safe place for youngsters to blossom

Understandable. I just have a thing against people who put a facade that they are perfect people, and Pep is guilty of that as well at times, as opposed to being real and random .. no person is perfect and his image of a good boy isnt everything nor is it that inspiring tbh because its unattainable to most people. I have watched this clip so many times and it rages me that he did not great nor acknowledge the existence of Dembele, and his entrance is too exaggerated (hopefully for the cams only) because everyone is treating him as if he is a superior being

Wooow poor Dembele

Griezmann so happy to get a hug from Messi :hooray:

Edit: Does anyone know after which match it was ? Was dembele so bad in that match?

He didn't acknowledge half of the squad, either. This clip proves nothing and making ultimate conclusions based on it is childish. And why would he clap hands with Umtiti, if this power hierarchy exists?

I think back then Dembele was not that welcomed in the squad, could be due to his decision making problems .. who knows .. like you said could be nothing

then why bring it up in the first place to make an argument against him ?

I have been trying to find some insights honestly regarding what he is like in the lockerroom .. all I get is players talking about him in the training ground hating to lose and playing well when he is angry. I have a feeling that the truth will come out in few years and it will be ugly .. Setien hinted to some mistreatment.. could be the Pep left for similar reasons .. time will tell hopefully

Young Messi had definitely done stupid things like one day when he came with a spoon in his mouth to a training session and took it out after the session was over as a sign that he was upset about Pep  Think he is nowadays too mature for ignoring his players or something.

- Messi wants to continue 2 seasons at the highest level, either in Barcelona or in another team. He wants a competitive team that can play for the UCL. He will see if Barca will make improvements in the squad or not.
- His father and his brother both want him to join PSG.
- Messi feels good in Barcelona but he thinks this actual squad is not enough to reach the ambitious goals we are talking about.
Nothing is sure in this question. The decision seems like a 50/50.

He wants to win CL but knows this Barca squad isnt capable of doing that and his family is advising him to join PSG as well. Seems like an easy choice
