Messi was definitely not the player with the main influence in our winning the Copa. Griezmann, Dembele etc played a vital part there too

Just because Suarez did well at atletico doesnt mean he would have done the same at barca. We dont have such workhorses like atletico therewith he can relax in front of the box to receive the passes.

In all honesty, I think as Barca fan we forgot what normal football looks like. You do not need a Messi to win, no one has a Messi.

You need a team that is dedicated and focused, players that make good decisions and follow instructions, and a solid manager and a leader of a captain. A classic 4-2-3-1 formation with a good finisher goes a long way

Messi gave the assist for griemann for the 2-1 and the pre assist for the 2-2 against granada, he wasnt the only main man but one of them. I dont think we would have won without him.

Its not like we have so many worldclass players in our team, over half of our starters are pure trash. Messi's goals, assists and pre assists have overshadowed a lot of weaknesses of this team.

What does that have to do with a 4231 formation? We cannot implement it for two reasons which I mentioned and non is our inability to score goals
