Lionel Messi - v7

I think today is important. Laporta will meet with Tebas according to reports.

If Tebas stand firm on FFP, the re-sign could take the whole summer.

You're welcome
Honestly, makes sense for him to wait after Copa. Lad doesn't want to get distracted when having good chance of winning prize with Argentina.

In this thread : Messi dragging the signing / Messi waiting too much / Messi waiting for after Copa

In the same thread : Tepas/FFP is blocking the signing

President Laporta in the end has decided to not meet with Tebas today. Laporta is at the Camp Nou offices and has sent a message of tranquility regarding Messi once more. [gol] barcacenter

If this is true, the plot has thicken. Why cancel the meeting?

Edit:
What is this "We're on our way to finding the formula"?

Is it bad translation? Am I suck at English?

You either finding the formula or already found the formula.

Someone help me understand this.

Laporta is sounding less confident with each day that passes. Weeks ago he said that deal was close and they were only down to the little details. Now, they're still trying to find a formula. He can't afford to keep Messi and he's hoping Tebas bends to rules to keep Messi here. Tebas simply can't change the rules regardless of how much Laporta asks.

This is sounding shadier and shadier by the minute.

PSG are attentive to the Messi situation according to various reports.

Come on Laporta man what are you doing...

PSG won't be able to get him this summer due to how many players already signed. Ramos will be on 12m a year, Gini will be on 10m a year, Donnarumma will be on 12m a year..... and they about to sign Hakimi for a large fee. Also, with Neymar's latest renewal, there is no way they can afford to sign Messi due to the FFP.

He'll either stay with us or join Man City. City's wage bill is much lower than PSG's and he'll get to play under Pep again.

It's over. The only question now is if he goes to City, PSG, or Bayern.

You know what i think? I think the contract is all but signed. Right now, Messi is concentrated 100% for Argentina, that s why he didn't signed it yet. Once he's back in Barcelona, he'll sign the contract. Mark my words.

Laporta said it clearly that the issue is FFP. And from some reports taxation.

So, it's financial problem.

If it's like what you said, all Laporta has to say i "Messi is 100% concentrate on Copa, all agreement have been reached only wait for him to comeback and sign"

I am sure a solution will be found. I don t think Messi wants to move at his age now. That ship has sailed.

PSG is back on the offensive for Lionel Messi! An offer was sent by the Parisian leaders. Jorge Messi (his father) remains in contact with PSG. (Andres Onrubia)
