The age old 'when Messi is poor it is his team mates fault' argument.

Messi has underperformed in classicos for few seasons now and majority have been close games where he could and should have made more of a difference.

Sorry to anyone that is is offended, but many on here not only doubted, but insulted the best player to ever play this game the last two seasons.
You guys, you know who you are, should really take a step back and say you were wrong.. perhaps a "I am sorry, I was wrong" would be justified.
Messi is 34 years old. He is way past his beat years and anyone that has followed Barca for some time knows that. But going as far as blaming the only player that still has the technical level to play in this team, for all our failures this last year, just reveals an agenda. The disrespect and entitlement shown in this forum, not by trolls like BarcaOG but from actual fans is amazing. Calling this little magical dude a cunt (aka. Sergei), calling him woat ( bbz), blaming him for not being lawyal enough. ( Xxxxx). What the hell did you do to deserve such entitlement?
Just think about it. I am not seeking for any response or anything, I know you are as hardcore Barca fans as I am and more. But you have been categorically on the wrong here and you have to admit it.
My two cents.

Some guys here seem to function with one braincell. One of them was banned, but many more need that treatment.

Well he has agreed a 5 year deal but he has not really agreed to take any kind of pay cut .. look it as creative accounting ;)

We need to reduce the wage bill for this coming year so he will receive less this coming season but then things will balance out ;)
